Terms for this website.
These terms cover your use of tare.now, the marketing site. They are not the terms of the tare product, which does not exist yet and will have its own agreement when it launches.
What this site is
tare.now describes a point-of-sale product being built for independent Oregon cannabis dispensaries. It is informational. Nothing on this site is an offer to sell software, a contract for service, or a commitment to deliver a product on a particular date.
Early-access list
Joining the early-access list is non-binding for both sides. You are telling us you might want to be a pilot operator, and we are telling you we will reach out as we open more pilot slots. Neither party is obligated to do anything further.
Pricing and product details mentioned on this site are good-faith intentions for the pilot program, not guarantees. Final terms are set in a written agreement at the time of onboarding.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Submit false business information through the early-access form.
- Scrape, harvest, or otherwise programmatically collect data from this site.
- Attempt to interfere with the operation of the site or its hosting infrastructure.
- Submit content that is unlawful, abusive, or infringing.
Content ownership
The text, design, and brand marks on this site — including the tare wordmark — belong to Smoothgrain Studios LLC. You can read it, link to it, and quote it for normal commentary or journalism. You can not copy the site wholesale, repurpose the brand, or imply endorsement we have not given.
No warranties
This site is provided as-is. We do our best to keep it accurate and online, but we make no guarantees that the information here is current, that the site will be available, or that any described feature will ship as described.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Smoothgrain Studios LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this site. Total liability for any direct damages tied to this site is limited to USD $100.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon. Any dispute arising from this site is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Oregon.
Changes
If we update these terms, we will change the effective date above. Continued use of the site after that date is acceptance of the updated terms.
